Population in my country

     One of the important topics today is world population. In Saudi Arabia the population is 25.7 million of which 5.5 million are non-Saudis. I think between now and the 1960's KSA grown in population but for now i think it stable. One of the reasons is because more families want fewer children, in the old days, families were an average of 6-8 children but nowadays its more like 3-4 children per family. I don't think this has an effect on our society moreover how they live.

Why are so many of us so tired? Blame Martha Stewart

     When people meet the first question that usually pops out is "how are you"? in which people usually respond to by either saying "fine" or the second most common respond which is "tired". Even though saying your tired is more truthful that saying your fine,it is still annoying for some people like therapists to hear.According to Statscan, men's sleeping hours are less that a women's but a women have troubles in both going to sleep and staying asleep.In the past 5 years , sleeping pills have been one of the common pills bought by individuals.This is most likely because it is linked to life factors. Contribute to kids, work stress and the lack of sleep.
     Also ,the physical and mental torture of insomnia is to be odds with the social status inherent in public fatigue: If you’re tired, then you’re busy and you matter. In the work place, being tired is almost like a competitive game. If you work harder at home thus leading to sleepless nights then your only being professional assuring other employees your commitment to your work.
     Profiles of CEOs inevitably touch on early rising as a key to success. Martha Steward for instance claims that she only needs four hours of sleep every night. She says that sleeping is boring and its like disappearing from a world that never goes to sleep. Then why should she.
     The never changing fact is that people need seven hours to sleep every night. Because they don't, the complaining begins. What people don't realize is that sleepless is linked to depression and anxiety which is why a number of Canadians visited a physician in 2009.According to IMS Health Canada, they theorize that often when people complain out loud they are seeking for attention and for understanding.To say “I’m tired” is to say “I’m overwhelmed.” I know I miss childhood sleep and i want it back.
     I think it is important to balance our life. Separate out work hours from our free hours and always make time to rest and take a break.

Slaughtered sled dogs' mass gravesite kept secret.

     Because of the low rate of tourists in the Olympics, sled dogs are being slaughtered. An employee kills the dogs because they had no use of them anymore. Other dogs managed to live but are in horrible positions. neither the SPCA or RCMP know the exact location of where it took place. The employee says he shot some and stabbed the others.
     People all around the globe are in rage and tried contacting people in charge. They are doing their best to help those dogs who are still alive with intensive care. Some animal rights groups, such as the Vancouver humane society, demanded to call a ban on dogsled tours to avoid this from happening again.
     This story touched people all around the world , people are calling for justice via facebook and other social networks. Staff Sgt. LeClair called for calm and are asking the public to be patient while this investigation goes further.
     As i read the article i cant help but feel shock and rage. The poor animals killed without fault. I am hoping the survivals will get better soon and the staff taking care of them will get them back the way they were. Another thing i want to point out is that, i am with the idea of banning dogsleds because not all people can do it the right way.Some people would just want to take advantage of them and whenever they are not needed , they might harm them.
